Strictly Dance Fit
If you love dance and have always wanted to learn then this is a fantastic opportunity for you to do so! We will be learning Latin-American styles such as the Cha-cha-cha, Rhumba and Salsa, as well as Jive and American Smooth to mention just a few. It promises to be the most fun you will have whilst improving your fitness, toning up the waist, thighs and bottom, and at the same time improving your posture and confidence, making you feel great. You do not require a partner nor do you need to have had any previous dance experience, just a desire to learn! Nearly everyone I meet is a bit nervous to start with and say they have two left feet, but that is usually just not the case, it is mostly a lack in confidence…...that will be on the up very quickly after a few weeks of participation. I will get you to move and dance well, with increasing confidence and ability and you will soon be looking as good as the celebrities on TV who have shown already just how quickly their dancing technique and style improves! What to wear? Skirt or leggings (flared trousers or tracksuits are not suitable as heels can get caught in them!). Light clothing is best as you will get hot! Footwear - very important to have a slippery sole, a low heel is best with a strap to secure the shoe to the foot. I can give you more information on footwear if you would like to call me, I can also order dance clothing and footwear too if you wish. No trainers please!
Classes are held at Harpers, Harpenden Leisure Centre Monday morning 9.30 - 10.45am Tuesday evenings 6.00 - 7.00pm
